Crossover is the world's #1 source of full-time remote jobs. Our clients offer top-tier pay for top-tier talent. We're recruiting this role for our client, Alpha. Have you got what it takes?

Are you passionate about equipping the next generation with real-world skills that schools often overlook? Do you have a knack for turning complex concepts into engaging, hands-on projects? If so, Alpha Schools has a unique opportunity that will challenge your creativity and make a lasting impact on Kindergarten - 8th grade (K-8) education.

At Alpha, we're revolutionizing education by focusing on what truly matters: preparing students for life, not just tests. You'll create innovative, project-based workshops that will be implemented across our entire network of schools, empowering hundreds of K-8 students with essential skills for their future success.

Unlike traditional curriculum developers, you won't create passive, lecture-based content. Instead, you'll design dynamic, real-world workshops that challenge students to master crucial life skills through creative struggle and hands-on experience. Your workshops will cover everything from public speaking and critical thinking to personal finance and emotional intelligence.

Why you'll love this role:

  • Autonomy to innovate and push the boundaries of educational content
  • Opportunity to make a lasting impact on students' lives across the globe
  • Work with cutting-edge technology and AI in education
  • Collaborate with a brilliant, international team of educators and innovators
  • Flexible, remote work environment

If you're ready to revolutionize K-8 education and empower students with the skills they need to thrive in the real world, apply now and join Alpha in shaping the future of learning!

What You Will Be Doing

  • Designing innovative, engaging life skills curricula that challenge and inspire K-8 students
  • Developing comprehensive workshop plans with clear learning objectives, activities, and assessment criteria
  • Creating and implementing objective grading systems to measure life skills mastery
  • Pilot testing new workshops, analyzing results, and continuously iterating based on data and feedback
  • Collaborating with an international team to refine and align curriculum materials
  • Leveraging advanced technology and AI to validate the effectiveness of life skills education

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Teaching or directly managing students - your focus is on creating exceptional content that others will facilitate
  • Following a rigid, pre-existing curriculum - you'll have the freedom to innovate and experiment
  • Designing one-size-fits-all workshops - you'll create content that can be differentiated for various learning styles and skill levels

Youth Program Coordinator Key Responsibilities

Design and develop an innovative life skills curriculum that results in measurable improvements in K-8 students' personal effectiveness and readiness for future challenges.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Experience creating trainings or curriculum in a professional capacity
