Palo Alto XSIAM Consultant
Contract: 12 months
Location: Open to candidates based in Sweden, the UK, or anywhere in Europe — fully remote working
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Palo Alto XSIAM Consultant to support a Security Operations environment through the effective use of XSIAM. The role is focused on improving threat detection, automation, and response across XDR and SIEM-style capabilities in a fully remote setting.
Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and optimise Palo Alto Networks XSIAM
- Develop automation workflows to improve SOC efficiency
- Enhance XDR-based detection and response capabilities
- Manage log ingestion, correlation rules, enrichment, and alert tuning
- Build dashboards and reports for real-time security visibility
- Integrate XSIAM with third-party security tools
- Troubleshoot platform and integration issues
- Provide technical guidance and maintain documentation
Required Experience
- 3+ years’ experience with Palo Alto Networks security technologies (XSIAM, Cortex XDR, SIEM tools)
- Hands-on experience operating or implementing XSIAM
- Strong understanding of SOC operations, XDR, and SIEM concepts
- Experience with log analysis and detection engineering
Desirable
- Palo Alto certifications (PCNSE, XSIAM)
- Cloud security experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- SOC or threat hunting experience
This is a strong opportunity to contribute to a large-scale XSIAM implementation, with support for further training for consultants with a solid XDR or SIEM background.
