Position: Writer/Editor – AI Trainer
Type: Contract (Full-time or Part-time)
Compensation: $50 – $150/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Transcribe a variety of audio and video files with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Edit and refine transcriptions to ensure clarity, consistency, and linguistic quality.
- Analyze language data and provide feedback to improve AI language model performance.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards in transcription and annotation workflows.
- Identify and resolve ambiguities in complex language scenarios within datasets.
- Maintain clear documentation of processes, methodologies, and project progress.
- Support ongoing training and quality assurance initiatives for AI language systems.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Linguistics, English, Communications, or a related field.
- Native-level proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience as a writer and/or editor with strong analytical and linguistic abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to transcribe complex audio and video content accurately and efficiently.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills related to language and communication.
- Proactive communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
