Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Workday Learning SME to support post go-live remediation and optimization of the Workday Learning (L&D) workstream. This is a critical role focused on stabilizing an underperforming implementation, completing configuration, and enabling long-term sustainability through knowledge transfer and best practices.
This is not a pure training or technical role—the ideal candidate will act as a hands-on functional expert, advisor, and problem-solver who can confidently guide the organization toward a stable and optimized Workday Learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead post go-live remediation of the Workday Learning module
- Analyze current system gaps and stabilize L&D workstream functionality
- Complete and optimize Workday Learning configuration and business processes
- Provide end-to-end functional guidance across Workday HCM integrations
- Support migration alignment from legacy LMS platforms to Workday Learning
- Deliver best-practice recommendations and enforce Workday-standard approaches
- Train and upskill internal L&D teams to operate effectively within Workday
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing clear and directive guidance to stakeholders
- Ensure knowledge transfer for long-term internal system ownership
Required Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of Workday experience
- Deep expertise in Workday Learning module
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM and cross-functional dependencies
- Proven experience in post go-live support, optimization, or remediation
- Experience with legacy LMS to Workday migration
- Ability to assess system impacts and guide business decisions
- Strong communication skills with ability to work with non-technical stakeholders
