Role Description
We are seeking a Web Development Intern for a remote internship role. The intern will assist in developing and maintaining the company's website, including both front-end and back-end development. Daily responsibilities include coding, debugging, designing user-friendly interfaces, and improving website functionality and performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align web development strategies with fundraising goals will be part of the role. This is an Unpaid volunteer position for a non-profit.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge and skills in Front-End Development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with Back-End Web Development and working with programming languages such as Python, Ruby, PHP, or similar
- Understanding of Web Development and Web Design principles, including responsive design and user experience
- Good Communication skills for effective collaboration and feedback exchange with team members
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote working environment
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus
