Braun Management

Web Developer Intern

amsterdam, north holland, netherlands / Posted
APPLY

Braun Management provides rigorous analysis and structural solutions for leadership teams facing organizational friction. This Web Developer Intern position helps us build the internal tools and client-facing interfaces that translate complex organizational data into clear, actionable reports. We are currently scaling our technical support for an ongoing organizational audit with a manufacturing partner in the Netherlands, and this role provides essential development capacity for that project.

Employment Setup
This is a fully remote internship offered by Braun Management, a firm based in the United States. The role is open to candidates who have the legal right to work in their current country of residence and can provide a minimum of four hours of overlap with Central European Time (CET). This is a full-time engagement with a schedule of 40 hours per week for a duration of six months. The position offers a professional stipend and is paid on a monthly basis. You will report directly to the Lead Frontend Developer, who will provide mentorship and guidance throughout the term. Please note that while interns contribute to production code, they do not carry final accountability for client delivery or codebase sign-off.

The Role
The Web Developer Intern is an entry-level position focused on the intersection of organizational theory and digital implementation. You will help our consultants present structural truths through clear and functional web interfaces. Much of our work involves investigating operational friction and clarifying decision rights, which results in large amounts of complex data. This role ensures that such data is organized and displayed in a way that helps executive teams understand their own internal structures. You will be helping us maintain and improve the internal tools that make our evidence-backed conclusions visible to our clients.

What You Will Do
  • Assist in building and maintaining internal reporting dashboards using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Convert wireframes and design mockups into functional, responsive web components.
  • Identify and fix layout issues, broken links, or styling inconsistencies on client portals.
  • Collaborate with the consulting team to ensure data tables and charts accurately reflect research findings.
  • Help organize and update the technical documentation for our frontend codebases.
  • Participate in weekly development syncs to discuss progress and blockers.
  • Test new features across multiple browsers to ensure a consistent user experience.
  • Submit regular updates on task completion following our internal documentation standards.

What We Are Looking For
  • Familiarity with the building blocks of the web, specifically HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Comfortable using basic JavaScript to manipulate page elements and handle simple user interactions.
  • An interest in how complex business systems can be represented through digital interfaces.
  • Ability to write clear, concise documentation and comments for the code you produce.
  • Some exposure to version control tools like Git.
  • Attention to detail when following established design guidelines or brand requirements.
  • Eager to learn about modern frontend workflows in a professional, remote setting.
  • A preference for simple, clean solutions over unnecessarily complex technical setups.

How We Work
Our firm prioritizes precision and clear thinking. Because we are a fully remote team, we rely heavily on written communication and structured documentation rather than constant meetings. We value a quiet, focused environment that allows our team members to solve technical problems with care. When we encounter organizational problems, we address them with honest and evidence-backed conclusions. This translates to our development process as well; we prefer code that is readable, maintainable, and well-documented. We expect every team member to contribute to a culture of accountability and professional growth.

What We Offer
This internship provides a supervised learning environment where you can apply your technical skills to real-world organizational challenges. You will receive direct mentorship from experienced developers and gain exposure to the inner workings of a specialized management consultancy. We offer a professional stipend and the opportunity to work on projects that have a direct impact on how large organizations operate. While we do not provide hardware, we ensure you have full access to all software, development licenses, and internal systems required for your daily tasks. Success in this role is measured by your growth in technical proficiency and the clarity you bring to our digital reporting tools.
Braun Management handles the difficult internal problems that many companies avoid. Your work as a developer ensures that our findings are presented with the level of precision and clarity that our clients require. Success in this role means providing the technical foundation that allows leadership teams to make better decisions for their organizations. We look forward to seeing how your contributions help our clients find a clear path forward.
