Role Overview
We are looking for a Web Content Writer who understands SEO best practices and brand-centered writing. In this role, you will create content for web pages, blogs/articles, press releases, case studies, and more. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and have excellent research and writing skills.
Primary Responsibilities
- Research, write, and proofread original, compelling consumer-facing copy based on SEO-driven outlines
- Develop an understanding of clients and their industries to use niche terms and concepts consistently
- Consistently produce polished work to meet deadlines
- Use search engine optimization (SEO) best practices in your writing
- Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment and consistency in branding, style, and messaging
Required Qualifications
- BA or higher in English, Journalism, Creative writing, Communications, Marketing, or a similar field
- 2+ years of copywriting experience
- Portfolio of relevant writing samples (published work preferred)

- Strong research skills, with the capability to distill concepts into clear, engaging content.
- Impeccable use of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Compelling writing style with a clear tone.
- Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Proficient in Slack and Google Drive.
- Ability to integrate constructive feedback and editorial suggestions into your work quickly and consistently.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Quick learner with the ability to take initiative.
