General Information:
This role requires an executive leader with deep experience standing up, operating, or scaling a Managed Services organization within a professional services or consulting environment. The ideal talent will advise on go-to-market strategy, service delivery frameworks, operational processes, and compliance requirements needed for a successful managed services offering.
Task and Deliverables:
- Define and advise on the strategy, operating model, and service delivery structure for a managed services organization.
- Establish best-practice GTM approaches, SLAs, frameworks, staffing models, and methodologies.
- Recommend the technologies, processes, and management systems required to run a scalable managed services function.
- Advise on AMS certifications, compliance, and security standards.
- Identify potential market segments the client can effectively serve with a distributed/remote workforce.
- Provide executive-level guidance on how to build and operationalize a professional services-based managed services offering.
Required Experience:
- Proven leadership as VP, Head, CIO, CTO, or senior executive within Managed Services
- Experience running or building Managed Services within a consulting or professional services firm
- Strong expertise in strategy, go-to-market planning, SLAs, service delivery frameworks, and staffing models
- Ability to design and operationalize managed services capabilities from the ground up
- Strong communication and executive advisory skills
- Background working in tier 1–3 consulting environments or dedicated managed services firms
Nice to have: Experience with remote or globally distributed delivery models

Overlap: Partial overlap with US time zones required
Type: 10-20h/week Contract
Duration: 3–6 months (advisory, with potential extension)
