Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced EU Commercial Head to start-up, lead and scale our oncology business across Europe, with a strong preference for candidates bringing deep lung, breast and prostate cancer expertise. This role will have full strategic and operational responsibility for commercial performance across the EU region, covering launch excellence, lifecycle management, market access, pricing, and field force leadership.

The successful candidate will be a proven oncology commercial leader with a track record of launching and growing innovative lung, breast and prostate cancer therapies in complex European markets, and of building high-performing, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Own and execute the EU commercial strategy for the oncology portfolio, with a primary focus on lung, breast and prostate cancer assets.
  • Translate global strategy into robust, country-specific execution plans across key European markets especially Germany, France, UK, Italy and Spain
  • Lead EU input into global brand strategy, pipeline planning, and evidence generation.
  • Drive launch excellence for new cancer indications and products across Europe.

Commercial Execution

  • Full P&L responsibility for the EU oncology business.
  • Oversee sales, marketing, market access, pricing, and commercial operations functions across the region.
  • Ensure optimal pricing and reimbursement strategies, aligned with evolving EU HTA and access landscapes.
  • Monitor and optimize commercial performance through data-driven insights and KPIs.

Market Access & External Engagement

  • Partner closely with EU and local market access teams to secure timely and sustainable access.
  • Act as a senior external ambassador with key stakeholders, including payers, policymakers, KOLs, and industry bodies.
  • Stay ahead of competitive dynamics and evolving standards of care in lung cancer.

Organizational Leadership

  • Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing EU commercial leadership team.
  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, R&D, Regulatory, and Global teams.
  • Develop talent, succession plans, and a culture of accountability, agility, and innovation.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure all commercial activities comply with local and international regulations, codes of conduct, and company policies.
  • Champion patient-centric decision-making.


Your Experience:

  • Master’s degree required; advanced degree with strong scientific background (MBA, PhD, PharmD, MD) strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 15+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech experience, with significant oncology leadership exposure.
  • Demonstrated prostate, breast and lung cancer experience strongly preferred, including recent launches and/or major lifecycle milestones.
  • Senior commercial leadership experience at EU or regional level.
  • Proven success in launching specialty or oncology products across multiple European markets including working in at least one of the following countries: Germany, France, UK, Italy and Spain
  • Deep understanding of the European oncology landscape, particularly lung, breast and prostate cancer treatment paradigms.
  • Strong background in market access and pricing within Europe.
