Role Description
As the VP of Corporate Development in the specialty therapeutics area, you will lead strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, business evaluations, relationship management, and growth strategies. Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for leading, identifying, evaluating and executing business opportunities that align with our company’s strategy and objectives. This full-time remote role entails managing high-impact projects, conducting due diligence, developing financial models, and navigating complex negotiations to drive successful transactions. You will collaborate with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities, align corporate development plans with organizational objectives, and manage cross-functional teams to execute key deals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, advanced degree (MBA, PhD) preferred.
• Prior Experience in either Management Consulting or Investment Banking is a Must
• Pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience with exposure to business development / licensing is a must.
• Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing complex deals, including licensing agreements, partnerships, and acquisitions.
