Summary

As a Virtual Health Coach, you will work one-on-one with clients to help them adopt healthier lifestyles, manage chronic conditions, improve nutrition, increase physical activity, and support mental well-being — all through remote coaching sessions. You will provide motivation, education, accountability, and personalized strategies to support client goals.

Duties

• Conduct virtual coaching sessions via phone, video, or chat.
• Assess client health needs, goals, and readiness to change.
• Develop and implement personalized health and wellness plans.
• Educate clients on nutrition, physical activity, stress management, sleep hygiene, and healthy habits.
• Monitor client progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Provide encouragement, accountability, and motivational support.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress.
• Collaborate with other wellness professionals or clinical staff as needed.
• Stay current with health coaching best practices and guidelines.
  
  

Requirements

• Certification as a Health Coach (e.g., NBC-HWC, ACE, IIN, Wellcoaches, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of health behavior change, nutrition, physical activity, and wellness principles.
• Excellent communication, listening, and motivational interviewing skills.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using digital tools and telehealth platforms.
• Ability to work independently and manage a remote schedule.
  
  

Nice To Haves

• Experience coaching clients with chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, obesity, hypertension).
• Background in allied health, fitness, psychology, or nutrition.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills a plus.
