Virtual Assistant Wanted: Flexible, Reliable, and Self-Sufficient
I run a small but busy online interiors/furniture business. I’m looking for a Virtual Assistant to support me with customer messages, social media post scheduling, order tracking, and general admin.
I’m looking for someone who:
• Is happy to take initiative and handle things without waiting for me to micromanage.
• Can confidently reply to customer messages using templates and adjust tone as needed.
• Is organised, reliable, and understands the fast pace of small business.
• Is comfortable using (or can learn) platforms like Square, Facebook, Instagram, and basic spreadsheets.
• Can keep things ticking over without needing me to be “always on.”
Tasks include:
• Replying to customer messages daily (using provided templates & FAQs).
• Scheduling pre-made social media posts.
• Updating order trackers and sending customer updates.
• Light admin tasks (e.g., uploading new stock, organising files &
Photos).
Hours:
5-10 hours per week to start, flexible across weekdays.
This can increase if the fit is good and we find our rhythm.
Experience with furniture, interiors, or e-commerce is a bonus but not essential.
Attitude, reliability, and clear communication matter more.
I’m ADHD-friendly and value people who are calm, clear, and happy to work with messy systems while helping me keep things moving forward.
