Qualifications
- Proven experience editing YouTube videos with a portfolio or samples demonstrating consistency and storytelling ability
- Ability to closely match an existing editing style and follow detailed creative instructions
- Proficiency with professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Experience working with shared assets, brand guidelines, and reference videos
- Exceptional attention to detail, including timing, audio levels, text accuracy, and visual consistency
- Strong communication skills and responsiveness in a remote work environment
- Interest in or familiarity with theme parks, travel, or YouTube content creation
- Edit long-form and short-form YouTube videos to match the specific style of Orlando Informer's content creators
- Replicate pacing, music integration, graphics, sound design, and storytelling techniques based on provided examples
- Assemble raw footage, screen recordings, voiceovers, music, and graphics into cohesive, engaging videos
- Add text overlays, basic motion graphics, B-roll footage, sound effects, and visual enhancements as needed
- Ensure all videos comply with platform best practices for YouTube, including pacing, clarity, and viewer engagement
- Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently, maintaining high-quality standards
- Organize project files and exports according to internal standards for easy access and review
- Meet established deadlines and production schedules to ensure timely content delivery
- Perform other video-related duties as assigned to support ongoing content creation needs
