Primary Job Title: Video Editor (Remote)
Employment Details
- Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time / Contract (flexible based on candidate and project needs)
- Seniority Level: Mid-Level / Senior (depending on experience and portfolio)
- Expected Commitment: 30–40 hours/week (with required overlap in US time zones; contract length flexible, long-term opportunities available)
- Edit end-to-end video projects from raw footage to final masters for web, social, sales, and training; optimize cuts for platform, audience, and length.
- Create and integrate motion graphics, animated titles, lower thirds, and branded transitions using After Effects or equivalent tools.
- Perform color correction, color grading, audio cleanup, mixing, and final mastering to broadcast-quality standards.
- Encode, compress, and export deliverables in platform-specific formats (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) and deliver ad-ready assets.
- Collaborate with marketing leads, content producers, and on-site crews to translate briefs and field footage into compelling visual stories; iterate quickly on feedback.
- Maintain organized project files and an editable asset library, tag metadata, and ensure version control and delivery timelines are met.
