About The Role

Care Access is seeking an experienced Video Editor to join our dynamic team in a full-time, temporary, remote capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and editing a wide array of video content that supports our organizational mission and initiatives. This includes producing engaging promotional campaigns, educational materials, social media videos, event recaps, interviews, and documentary-style storytelling. The role demands a strong visual storyteller with a keen eye for detail, capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as creative, marketing, and communications is essential to bring stories to life through polished, compelling video content. The Video Editor will be instrumental in shaping the visual narrative of Care Access, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from an accredited college or university.
  • Professional experience as a video editor, preferably with social media, branded, documentary, or mission-driven content.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Technical understanding of Adobe post-production workflows, including project organization, media management, exporting, and version control.
  • Experience editing short-form social media content for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or similar channels.
  • Motion graphics experience, including animated titles, lower thirds, captions, and simple graphic treatments.
  • Ability to create content in multiple aspect ratios, including 16:9, 1:1, 4:5, and 9:16.
  • Strong storytelling instincts with the ability to craft engaging narratives from raw footage.
  • Knowledge of color correction, audio mixing, and final delivery standards across various platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to incorporate feedback effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce compelling video content for social media, promotional campaigns, educational initiatives, interviews, event recaps, and internal/external communications.
  • Support long-form, documentary-style storytelling projects as needed.
  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, and communications teams on project development, ideation, and execution.
  • Prepare project files, organize footage, create string-outs, assemble rough cuts, and deliver final mastered assets.
  • Apply motion graphics, titles, captions, music, sound design, and basic visual effects to enhance video content.
  • Perform color correction, audio cleanup, and final export preparation for multiple platforms and formats.
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality standards.
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback throughout the review process to refine content.
  • Maintain organized project files and adhere to established post-production workflows.
