Position: Video Editing Expert
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $19–$65/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end video editing projects using OpenShot or Shotcut.
- Demonstrate real-world editing workflows for AI training, including sequencing and pacing.
- Clearly explain editing decisions in written and verbal formats.
- Optimize workflows to improve efficiency and production quality.
- Troubleshoot technical or creative issues and document solutions.
- Participate in feedback sessions to refine editing best practices.
Requirements
- Advanced expertise in OpenShot or Shotcut with end-to-end project experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality video editing work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage digital assets and complex timelines.
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
