Position: OpenShot Expert
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $40 - $100/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble video projects from raw footage using OpenShot to produce high-quality final outputs.
- Demonstrate real-time editing workflows and processes within OpenShot for project evaluation and optimization.
- Organize and manage video assets with structured timelines and efficient project folder management.
- Apply transitions, visual effects, and audio enhancements to improve overall video production quality.
- Export completed projects in multiple formats and specifications based on project requirements.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges and recommend best practices for OpenShot-based editing workflows.
- Communicate progress, feedback, and updates clearly with remote team members.
Requirements
- Strong experience using OpenShot Video Editor for professional video editing workflows.
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing end-to-end video editing projects.
- Strong understanding of timeline management and asset organization within OpenShot.
- Solid knowledge of post-production workflows including color correction, audio editing, and export optimization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clear feedback and collaboration ability.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while supporting team objectives.
- Strong attention to detail with effective time management and problem-solving skills.
