This role is a combination of strategy and execution and is cross-functional between membership development, content, sales, and marketing. The media property focuses directly on supporting women in their careers and leadership. The right candidate should be passionate about this focus.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for the Vice President of Operations. The VP of Operations will:
- Actively work in and on customer acquisition and content production
- Present the organization to external parties through virtual as well as live events
- Manage a team of three to five direct reports working in different areas
- Monitor progress of various projects and problem-solve to achieve desired results
- 8 to 10 years of team leadership experience, preferably in a startup or fast-growing business unit
- 4-year college degree from a top 40 college
- Continuity in working at a prior company and achieving one or more promotions
- Desire to work in the field of women's executive leadership
- Individual must be a self-starter and must work well with people
- Individual has the ability to figure things out quickly and take action
- This is a remote position with travel expected once or twice a year
Salary of $80,000 to $90,000 plus performance bonus.
