Job Overview


The Vice President of Strategic Expansion (VP of Strategic Expansion) is a senior executive leadership role responsible for driving FIA’s global growth strategy, market expansion initiatives, and strategic execution.


Reporting directly to the CEO and COO, the VP of Strategic Expansion will oversee strategic planning, operational coordination, and cross-functional execution across corporate development, partnerships, operations, and market entry initiatives.


This role requires a seasoned leader with deep experience in healthcare, medical technology, or healthcare-related investment environments, capable of translating long-term vision into disciplined execution while scaling complex, multi-market organizations.


The ideal candidate has a proven track record in strategic expansion, organizational scaling, and business transformation within high-growth, regulated industries.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Execution


Lead and coordinate FIA’s global strategic expansion initiatives to ensure alignment with corporate vision, growth objectives, and regulatory requirements.


Design and implement scalable strategic frameworks that support market entry, partnership development, and long-term growth.


Ensure effective execution of cross-functional initiatives across operations, technology, regulatory affairs, and commercial teams.


Oversee day-to-day strategic execution, ensuring clarity, accountability, and measurable outcomes across expansion programs.


Corporate Strategy & Business Transformation


Partner with executive leadership to shape and execute FIA’s long-term corporate and growth strategy.


Translate strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps, governance models, and performance metrics.


Lead transformation initiatives that enhance scalability, operational maturity, and organizational effectiveness.


Monitor global healthcare, regulatory, and technology trends to ensure FIA remains competitive and future-ready.


Global Expansion & Market Development


Oversee strategic planning and execution for FIA’s expansion into the Americas and other priority global markets.


Develop market entry strategies, partnership models, and institutional engagement frameworks tailored to healthcare and medical technology environments.


Strengthen collaboration between healthcare innovation, technology platforms, and capital deployment.


Ensure expansion initiatives align with regional regulatory, compliance, and healthcare delivery standards.


Governance, Risk & Regulatory Alignment


Support the development and maintenance of strong governance and risk management frameworks across strategic initiatives.


Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, data protection standards, and international requirements.


Implement risk mitigation, escalation, and business continuity strategies related to expansion and strategic investments.


Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and regulatory discipline across all growth initiatives.


Leadership & Organizational Development


Build, mentor, and lead high-performing strategy and expansion teams across geographies.


Foster cross-functional collaboration between strategy, operations, technology, clinical, and commercial stakeholders.

Qualifications


18–20+ years of progressive experience in strategic management, corporate development, operations, or executive leadership within healthcare, medical technology, life sciences, or related sectors.


Demonstrated success in leading global expansion, organizational scaling, and strategic transformation.


Strong understanding of healthcare systems, medical technology commercialization, and regulated operating environments.


Expertise in corporate strategy, governance, and cross-border execution.


Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Management, Engineering, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
