This is one of those rare opportunities to join a consumer brand at the exact moment it goes from underground sensation to mainstream phenomenon — and own the commercial side of that journey.


THE ROLE


This is a ground-floor commercial leadership role. You'll own our entire retail and distribution strategy — building key account relationships, closing vendor agreements, and laying the commercial foundations of what we believe will be one of the most talked-about product launches of 2026. You won't be managing a team yet — you'll be the one making things happen directly, reporting straight to the founders.


WHAT YOU'LL DO


• Own and drive retail partnerships across US specialty and mass-market channels including Best Buy, B&H, Adorama, and Brookstone

• Identify, negotiate, and close European distribution agreements — with IFA Berlin in September as a key milestone

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan aligned to our July 2026 global launch

• Engage and develop relationships with US sales agencies to support major retail opportunities

• Lead all vendor agreement negotiations — margins, co-op, MDF, sell-through terms

• Build and maintain a retail and distribution pipeline, reporting directly to founders

• Represent TDM at trade events, buyer meetings, and industry events


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR


• 5+ years in consumer electronics or audio accessories sales — this is a requirement, not a nice-to-have

• Existing buyer relationships at major US CE retailers

• Proven track record negotiating vendor and distributor agreements

• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills

• Entrepreneurial — you build from scratch, you don't inherit a playbook

• Excited by the idea of joining a brand with genuine cultural momentum at its most critical moment

COMPENSATION

• Base salary: $80K–$110K

• Commission on deals closed

• Equity: 0.25%–0.75%
