VP of Customer Retention & Success

We’re looking for a sales-minded post-sales leader who sees retention as a revenue motion - not a support function.
Our client, a fast-growing Salesforce ISV with deep enterprise adoption, is hiring a VP of Customer Retention & Success to own gross retention, renewals, and long-term customer value across a complex SaaS platform.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who understands enterprise sales dynamics, can run sophisticated customer success motions, and knows how to drive outcomes at renewal time.
What You’ll Own
- Gross retention, renewals, and executive-level customer relationships
- A global post-sales org (Customer Success, Support, Technical Architecture, Ops) across the US & India
- A commercial retention strategy with strong forecasting discipline
- Executive alignment with enterprise customers to secure long-term commitments
- Renewal cadence, KPIs, playbooks, and operating rhythm with a sales lens
- Close partnership with Sales, Product, and Engineering to drive adoption and expansion
- Complex enterprise renewals, product transitions, and migrations
What You Bring
- A sales or revenue leadership background (renewals, retention, post-sales revenue)
- Proven success improving gross retention in a SaaS business
- Experience navigating complex enterprise accounts and buying committees
- Strong forecasting, operational rigor, and accountability mindset
- Executive presence with C-level customers
