VP IT / CIO (all genders)
focus on IT Operations, Cost Efficiency & Digital Transformation
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure stable, secure, and efficient global IT operations across applications, infrastructure, and regional units.
- Drive service excellence by maintaining high availability, performance, and effective incident and escalation management.
- Own and optimize the global IT budget with a strong focus on cost transparency, efficiency, and scalability.
- Manage outsourcing strategies and oversee external providers, including contracts, SLAs, KPIs, and performance.
- Execute the digitalization roadmap and lead the stabilization and continuous improvement of SAP S/4HANA.
- Lead and develop the global IT organization with >100 employees, ensuring strong governance, security, compliance, and clear reporting to executive leadership.
- Completed university degree, ideally in Information Technology or a related field
- Extensive leadership experience in IT operations within an industrial mid-sized or corporate environment
- Proven responsibility for end-to-end IT budgets and cost management in complex organizations, with a strong focus on cost and performance
- Strong international experience and solid understanding of plant- and region-based IT structures
- Broad technology expertise across IT applications, infrastructure, and platforms (on-premises, cloud, hybrid), including ERP programs such as SAP S/4HANA
- In-depth knowledge of IT security, resilience, and operational risk management, with a mindset of ensuring stability as the foundation for digitalization
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing, hybrid teams with a pragmatic, agile, and execution-focused leadership style
- Fluent English skills are required; additional German and/or Spanish language skills are an advantage
- High level of flexibility regarding travel and potential relocation
