About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a growing mid-market organization seeking a Vice President of Human Resources (VP, HR) to lead enterprise people strategy across a dynamic, distributed workforce.
This executive will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to drive culture transformation, support organizational scaling, and build high-performing teams. This role will oversee all core HR functions while ensuring alignment between people strategy and overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise HR strategy, including talent acquisition, workforce planning, and organizational design
- Drive culture transformation and enhance employee engagement across a distributed workforce
- Partner with executive leadership on leadership development and succession planning
- Lead HR efforts related to M&A, including integration and organizational alignment
- Build and scale HR systems, policies, and performance management frameworks
- Support executive team development and leadership alignment initiatives
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and HR governance standards
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing HR organization
Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
- Experience in mid-market or high-growth organizations (500+ employees preferred)
- Proven success in M&A integration and culture transformation initiatives
- Strong expertise in workforce planning and organizational design
- Demonstrated experience partnering with executive leadership teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MA/MS in HR, or similar) preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $200,000 – $300,000
- Performance-based bonus opportunity
