We are partnering with a VC-backed, high-growth company operating in a fast-paced and competitive market. With support from leading investors, the company is scaling rapidly and building a strong, data-driven finance organization to support its next phase of growth.


The Role

The Vice President, Finance will lead the company’s strategic finance and financial planning functions, supporting executive decision-making through accurate forecasting, analysis, and business insight. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role owns FP&A, financial modeling, and business partnering, while supporting board and investor reporting requirements.

This leader will play a critical role in building scalable financial processes, improving visibility across the organization, and enabling the company to achieve key growth and operational objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the finance and FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and business analytics
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to drive informed financial decision-making and improved business performance
  • Prepare board-level and investor reporting materials in collaboration with the CFO
  • Lead scenario modeling, cash flow forecasting, and runway analysis
  • Build and scale finance infrastructure, including financial models, reporting tools, and dashboards
  • Establish KPIs and performance frameworks to drive accountability across business units
  • Support strategic finance initiatives such as pricing strategy, margin improvement, and customer economics


What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior-level responsibility for FP&A or strategic finance
  • Prior experience in a VC-backed, high-growth, or technology-driven environment preferred
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing finance teams
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and forecasting expertise
  • Experience preparing materials for executive leadership, board meetings, and investors
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at the executive level
  • Experience with financial planning tools such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or similar systems
