An industrial manufacturer is seeking a senior Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing to lead plant performance, production strategy, and capital project execution across multiple sites. This role will drive operational excellence, production scaling, process improvement, and safety standards while building a high-performance engineering and plant leadership organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multi-site manufacturing operations and engineering strategy
- Drive lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Improve plant performance metrics including throughput, yield, OEE, and safety performance
- Oversee capital investment planning and major project execution across facilities
- Scale production capacity to meet growth demands
- Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, finance, quality, and commercial teams
- Build and mentor strong plant managers, engineering leaders, and technical teams
Qualifications
- 15 or more years of leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering environments
- Hands-on expertise in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience leading multi-site production operations
- Demonstrated success scaling production and improving operational performance
- Strong capital project management experience
- Engineering degree required; advanced degree preferred
