About the Role
Salesforce is seeking a talented and driven User Experience Researcher to join the Marketing Cloud UX Design Studio. In this role, you'll help shape intelligent and user-friendly Marketing Automation and AI tools. You'll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to build research-informed products that solve real customer problems.
You’ll own the research process end-to-end—from discovery and generative research to usability testing—while being the voice of the customer across the product lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Lead qualitative and quantitative UX research for a key Marketing Cloud product area
- Conduct discovery research to understand user goals, pain points, and workflows
- Run usability testing sessions, interviews, surveys, and heuristic evaluations
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate insights into product improvements
- Develop research plans, screeners, protocols, and analysis reports
- Present findings clearly through storytelling, presentations, and actionable insights
- Advocate for research-informed decisions in product design and strategy
Key Skills & Experience
- 8–10 years of hands-on UX research experience, preferably in SaaS, marketing tech, or enterprise tools
- Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Experience conducting user research across all phases of the product lifecycle
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to synthesize insights into clear, concise recommendations
- Proficient with tools like Morae, WebEx, or rapid prototyping platforms (Axure is a plus)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in HCI, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, or related field
- Strong portfolio showcasing research process and impact on product decisions
