Job Responsibilities:
- Design User Interfaces: Create simple and efficient user interfaces for complex workflows, enhancing user experience and usability
- Develop Mockups: Produce detailed graphical layouts and mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and user interactions
- Implement Designs: Translate mockups into responsive layouts using CSS and HTML, ensuring compatibility across desktop and tablet devices
- Ensure Accessibility Compliance: Apply a basic understanding of Section 508 guidelines to ensure that all designs meet accessibility standards
- Understand Compliance Requirements: Maintain a basic understanding of HIPAA regulations, ensuring that any designs involving sensitive data adhere to privacy and security protocols
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, to ensure that design specifications are accurately implemented
- Demonstrable prior portfolio
- Simple, efficient UI for complex workflows
- Implementation in CSS and HTML, not based on JavaScript frameworks
- Need graphical layouts / mockups, not programming
- Layout must be responsive on desktop and tablets
- Basic understanding of Section 508
- Basic understanding of HIPAA, or can be cleared to see HIPAA data in the current system
