An established engineering firm is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join its growing Power Delivery team. This position is ideal for an experienced engineering professional with a background in transmission line design, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical aspects and delivery of transmission line design projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.
- Apply engineering principles and problem-solving techniques to develop solutions for transmission line designs.
- Perform moderate design tasks, prepare project plans and specifications, and conduct research and field investigations.
- Work collaboratively within a team, coordinating tasks and assisting with schedule and budget planning.
- Participate in project meetings and client interactions, with close oversight and mentorship from senior staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in transmission line design.
- Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and obtained EIT/EI certification.
- Experience with PLS-CADD is preferred; candidates with at least 1 year of PLS-CADD experience may work remotely.
- Candidates without PLS-CADD knowledge must work on-site or follow a hybrid schedule at an office location.
