Position Summary:
The Training Assistant supports the Training & Development function by assisting with the execution, coordination, and administration of training programs across the organization. This role works directly under the Director of Training & Development to help build and maintain training modules, coordinate training schedules, review and organize instructional materials, and ensure training initiatives are delivered clearly, consistently, and on schedule. This position is designed to support scale, consistency, and follow‑through allowing the Director to focus on strategy, standards, and organizational impact.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Training Content Support
- Assisting building, formatting, and maintaining training modules and learning materials based on content developed by the Director of Training & Development
- Review training materials for clarity, consistency, accuracy, and usability
- Upload, organize, and maintain content within the Learning Management System (LMS) and shared platforms
- Maintain version control and documentation for training updates and revisions
Training Coordination & Administration
- Coordinate the training calendar, including scheduling sessions, tracking attendance, and managing logistics
- Support in person, virtual, and hybrid training sessions by preparing materials and resources in advance.
- Track training participation, completion, and follow-up items up items
- Assist with post training documentation and feedback collection training documentation and feedback collection
Operational & Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative support to the Training & Development function
- Organize reference materials, job aids, and training documentation
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or opportunities for improvement within training materials and workflows
- Support cross functional coordination as needed to execute training in initiatives functional coordination as needed to execute training initiatives
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, coordinator, or support role (training, operations, or project support preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to learn and work within new systems and platforms (LMS, SharePoint, Teams, CRM, etc.)
- Reliable, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively

Hourly: $24.00 - $26.00
