About the Opportunity:
This entry-level role involves scheduling radio commercials within the Traffic Operations Division of the Premiere Networks Traffic Department. Premiere Networks syndicates over 100 radio programs and services to more than 8,200 radio affiliations, reaching a quarter billion listeners monthly. The team offers a variety of talk, entertainment, and sports programming and operates from Sherman Oaks, California, with 13 offices nationwide.
Responsibilities:
• Schedule network commercials within short and long form syndicated radio programming including talk programs, morning shows, and music countdowns
• Place individual advertiser commercials within program breaks to ensure optimal rotation and avoid conflicts with competing advertisers
• Fulfill specialized advertiser scheduling requests for specific days, hours, or breaks within programs
• Proof commercial logs for accuracy
• Perform quality control of commercial audio
• Implement multiple daily revisions for changes in commercial inventory and copy
• Communicate with other departments if commercials cannot be scheduled as requested
• Execute regional commercial copy customization and market blackouts as required by advertisers
• Track progress of weekly deadlines and maintain records of all completed logs and revisions
• Train as a backup on all Traffic Operations procedures
Requirements:
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work quickly and accurately
• Four-year college degree or traffic-related work experience in Radio, TV, or Advertising
• Previous clerical and data entry experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to multitask and manage time to meet daily deadlines
• Self-motivated
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Availability to work overtime if needed
• Respect for others and expectation of reciprocal respect
• Ability to follow standardized procedures and know when to escalate issues
• Problem-solving skills for straightforward issues using established procedures

Compensation:
• Salary determined by factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, job-related qualifications, and market data
• $19.23 to $24.04 per hour
