Location: Open (Hybrid/Remote-friendly depending on candidate)

Reports to: Creative Director

About the Role

Sociallyin is looking for a social-first creative who lives and breathes TikTok & IG. This role is for someone who can brainstorm, script, and edit TikToks that feel native, on-trend, and unmistakably on-brand—across a wide range of clients and industries.

Editing is the most important part of this role. You should be able to take a concept and execute it end-to-end with confidence, speed, and taste.


Key Responsibilities
  • Brainstorm TikTok concepts for a variety of clients (B2B, B2C, corporate, lifestyle, etc.)

  • Develop fully formed concepts, including:

  • Hooks
  • Scripts
  • On-screen text
  • Visual references and examples

  • Edit TikToks that are native to the platform and aligned with each brand’s voice and guidelines

  • Apply trend awareness thoughtfully—knowing when to lean in and when not to

  • Execute fast turnarounds while maintaining quality and brand consistency

  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and take creative direction clearly and professionally

  • Stay ahead of platform updates, trends, and pop culture moments

  • Adapt concepts and edits based on performance insights and feedback

  • What Editing Excellence Looks Like
    • Strong pacing, timing, and rhythm
    • Clean, intentional captions and on-screen text
    • Confident use of:

    • Cuts
    • Text animation
    • Music and sound design

    • Ability to edit for different brand tones (corporate, playful, educational, premium, etc.)
    • Content feels TikTok-native, not repurposed or forced
    • In alignment with brand guidelines
    Qualifications
    • Proven experience creating and editing TikToks for brands or agencies

    • Strong understanding of TikTok trends, internet culture, and pop culture

    • Deep knowledge of social media best practices

    • Ability to think creatively and strategically at the same time

    • Fast, organized, and detail-oriented

    • Comfortable reporting to a Creative Director and working within established creative direction

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Nice-to-Have Skills
    • Experience working in an agency environment
    • Familiarity with performance metrics and what drives TikTok engagement
    • Light motion graphics or advanced text animation skills

    • Proof of editing range across different tones and industries
