We are seeking a motivated Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in identifying and attracting technical talent for federal government projects and contracts. You will leverage your experience in sourcing, screening, and managing candidates with the appropriate technical skill sets and security clearances to support critical federal technology initiatives.


Responsibilities:

Candidate Sourcing:

  • Utilize multiple recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals, to identify and attract candidates with relevant technical expertise and active federal security clearances.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to support ongoing and anticipated hiring needs.
  • Leverage and continuously learn emerging AI-driven recruiting and sourcing tools to enhance candidate identification, outreach, and pipeline development.


Candidate Screening and Assessment:

  • Conduct pre-screening interviews to assess candidates’ technical skills, experience, and alignment with role requirements.
  • Review and validate candidates’ credentials, certifications, and security clearances to ensure compliance with contract requirements.


Pipeline Management:

  • Build, maintain, and nurture a pipeline of qualified technical candidates to support current and future staffing needs.
  • Accurately track candidate activity and status using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.


Collaboration with Client Relationship Leads:

  • Partner with client relationship leads and project stakeholders to understand technical, functional, and clearance requirements.
  • Ensure candidate profiles align with project needs and customer expectations.


Candidate Experience:

  • Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Coordinate interviews, assist with salary and/or rate discussions, obtain Letters of Intent and Exclusivity as required, and support candidate closing activities.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with candidates regarding status and next steps.


Market Research:

  • Stay current on industry trends, labor market conditions, salary ranges, and the availability of technical talent to inform recruitment strategies.


Networking and Outreach:

  • Participate in industry events, career fairs, and networking activities to expand talent pipelines and strengthen brand presence.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Technical Recruiter, preferably within a government contracting, federal technology, or staffing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting for technical roles such as software engineers, systems administrators, cybersecurity professionals, data analysts, and related positions.
  • Working knowledge of recruiting best practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment sourcing tools.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with government contracting and security clearance requirements is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
