Role summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to enhance our recruitment efforts and help attract top-tier talent. This individual will be involved in the entire global hiring process, including sourcing candidates, screening applications, conducting interviews, and collaborating closely with hiring managers. A key aspect of the role is shaping a positive candidate experience while ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment journey.
Working closely with the HR Director, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will support all global recruitment-related activities—from job postings to onboarding. The position requires effective coordination, tracking, and execution of recruitment strategies that benefit both candidates and hiring managers. This is a part-time opportunity averaging 20 hours per week, structured as four hours per day or 2.5 days per week, with flexibility in scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Publish engaging job advertisements across multiple platforms.
- Review resumes and shortlist candidates based on defined job criteria.
- Conduct initial interviews using behavioral-based interviewing techniques to assess candidate fit.
- Maintain and update our applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter and BambooHR).
- Schedule interviews and manage communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to gather feedback and determine next steps.
- Track and report on recruitment metrics, including candidate pipeline status, scheduling progress, and feedback timelines, to inform data-driven hiring decisions.
Education/experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree with 3-5 years of related experience
- Previous experience or academic background in recruitment, HR, or a related field
- Strong understanding of behavioral-based interview techniques
- Tech industry experience a plus
Skills
- Must be fluent in English, oral and written.
- Strong organisational, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Tech-savvy, with experience using ATS and professional networking tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Bamboo).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
