Job Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support and execute all aspects of the recruitment process. This includes sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, coordinating with hiring managers, managing recruitment systems, and ensuring a seamless hiring experience for all stakeholders.
Experience with government contracting, facilities management, or commercial roles is a strong plus.
This position requires flexibility in scheduling to accommodate varying business needs and candidate availability.
There is potential for this role to convert to a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate and reconcile interview schedules, including emergency changes.
- Process background checks for candidates.
- Ensure a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
- Source candidates globally using various talent acquisition strategies.
- Post job openings across relevant platforms.
- Generate recruitment reports and track key metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, candidate sources, applicant progress).
- Assist the Talent Acquisition Lead with recruitment-related tasks and special projects.
Education & Experience
- Required:
- High School Diploma
- 3+ years of experience in recruitment, including sourcing, resume review, screening, and onboarding.
- UKG and LinkedIn Recruiter/ Sourcing platforms
- Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Microsoft Certifications
- Experience with government contracting, facilities management, or commercial roles
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of recruitment practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate screening methods.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously.
- Knowledge of federal hiring regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
- Experience with government contracting, facilities, or commercial roles is highly desirable.
- Flexibility to adjust work hours as needed to meet business and candidate scheduling requirements.
