Allied Mineral Products is a leading manufacturer of monolithic refractories worldwide. We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist (Contractor -1099) to support our talent acquisition efforts. In this part-time role, you’ll focus on identifying, engaging, and nurturing top talent across multiple channels. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys research, relationship-building, and the challenge of finding exceptional candidates in competitive markets
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates for a variety of roles
- Use platforms such as Pin, LinkedIn, job boards, social networks, professional networks and Boolean search to identify talent
- Use creative and out-of-the-box sourcing techniques to find top talent
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Conduct initial outreach to passive and active candidates to gauge interest and fit
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and ideal candidate profiles
- Track sourcing activity, candidate pipelines, and response rates using ATS or CRM tools
- Stay current on market trends, competitor hiring activity, and sourcing best practices
- Represent the company brand professionally in all candidate interactions
- Conduct screens to evaluate candidate fit based on defined criteria
- Present qualified candidates to the recruiter/hiring team with clear notes and summaries.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in sourcing, recruiting, or talent research
- Strong understanding of Boolean search, advanced sourcing techniques, and online research
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage passive candidates
- Familiarity with ATS/CRM systems and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume, etc.)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
- Curiosity, persistence, and a passion for finding great talent
- Prior experience with souring for manufacturing, engineering or technical positions preferred

- Part-time: up to 20 hours per week
