What You’ll Do
As our Systems Administrator, you’ll oversee and optimize our internal IT systems and cloud infrastructure. You’ll manage endpoints, enforce security controls, and support operational continuity for a fully remote team spread across the U.S.
Education and Experience
- Required: Bachelor’s degree.
- Preferred: Advanced certifications in a technical discipline.
- 3+ years of experience managing cloud-native infrastructure and endpoints in a remote environment.
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, especially Entra, Intune, Defender, and Purview.
- Solid knowledge of Atlassian products (Jira and Confluence).
- Experience with policy frameworks like SOC2, HIPAA, or NIST CSF.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cloud permissions and roles in Azure and AWS.
- Experience supporting SaaS platforms in healthcare.
- Familiarity with configuration management or scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
- ITIL or similar certification.
- Experience with asset management and automation tools.

Primary Job Duties
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Administer Microsoft 365 (including Entra, Intune, Defender, Purview, etc.) for identity, device, and data security management.
- Manage configuration and automation in Atlassian tools (Jira Service Management and Confluence).
- Support access controls and least-privilege models across Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS.
- Deploy and maintain endpoint security, software patches, and monitoring tools across all devices.
- Develop and maintain IT policies and playbooks related to patching, antivirus, BCDR, and event logging.
- Collaborate with engineering and compliance teams to implement controls for SOC2, HIPAA, and NIST CSF.
- Act as an escalation point for IT incidents and provide end-user support.
