Axiosys is a passionate and dedicated indie game development team driven by innovation, creativity, and collaborative storytelling. The team behind Mawforged combines technical skill, artistic vision, and narrative depth to craft a rich and immersive gaming experience. Axiosys is committed to pushing the boundaries of game design to deliver unique and engaging titles for players worldwide.

This is currently a revenue-share/equity-based position as we finalize our initial funding rounds over the coming months. We're assembling a founding team of passionate professionals who believe in the long-term potential of Mawforged.

🛠️ What you’ll run & improve

• Proxmox VE: cluster ops, HA, live migration, VM/CT templates & cloud-init, bridges/VLANs, backups (Proxmox Backup Server), storage backends (ZFS/Ceph/iSCSI/NFS), PCIe/GPU passthrough
• OPNsense: VLANs, routing, firewall/NAT, WireGuard/OpenVPN, DHCP/DNS, HA, backups
• Linux servers (Debian/Ubuntu/RHEL): systemd, hardening, storage, users/SSH, backups & DR
• Active Directory & DNS: AD DS (Users/Groups/OUs), Group Policy, LDAPS, DNS zones/records, DHCP scopes; SSO/federation (LDAP/SAML/OIDC) with GitLab, Nextcloud, VPN, etc.
• GitLab CE: upgrades/backups, Runners (Docker/Shell), CI/CD pipelines, Container Registry, perms/SSO
• Ansible: inventories, roles, playbooks, Vault; idempotent infra changes (Semaphore/AWX a plus)
• Nextcloud: upgrades (OCC), Redis/OPcache, DB tuning, external storage, OnlyOffice/Collabora, SSO/LDAP
• Security & Reliability: TLS/ACME, secrets, patching, monitoring/alerting, log aggregation
• Docs & Enablement: clear SOPs/runbooks so the team can self-serve safely

🎯 You should have

• Proven admin experience across Proxmox VE, OPNsense, Linux, AD/DNS, GitLab, Ansible, Nextcloud
• Solid networking (VLANs, routing, VPN, DNS, firewalling) + identity fundamentals (AD, GPO, LDAP/LDAPS)
• Comfort automating ops (bash/python + Ansible) and building CI/CD for infra
• Experience planning & executing upgrades/migrations with rollback paths
• Habit of documenting, monitoring, and testing (staging → prod)

🚀 Nice-to-haves

• Ceph/ZFS tuning, Proxmox Backup Server strategy, Terraform/Packer for golden images
• Azure AD/Entra ID, SAML/OIDC federation
• Monitoring stacks (CheckMK / Prometheus + Alertmanager / Grafana)
• Backups (Borg/Restic, snapshots, offsite rotation)
• Hardening & compliance mindset (SSH keys, Fail2ban, CIS-ish, GDPR basics)
