YOUR TASKS:
To support the sales team in fulfilling customer’s periodic ESG surveys, tenders and requests for information through:
- The coordination of the collection of the inputs needed from different teams to enable specific customer surveys to be filled.
- Conversion of the available corporate data/ resources into the relevant metrics and scopes to fill the data in the required format/ platform specified by the customer.
- The mobilization of the appropriate resource when new data disclosure needs to be approved by a subject matter expert or the legal department (e.g. when linked to contractual terms or regulatory requirements).
- Systemic curation of the data disclosed
- Contribute to efforts in setting up a global customer survey answering process as well as in a customized global IT platform and lead its deployment in the international region in terms of sustainability queries.
- Prepare FAQs document to empower others to reply basic questions
- Channel identified gaps in available data to the ESG team and support related materials are developed.
- Provide feedback to improve the tools, resources and process continuously.
To support the current international sustainability team and possible future requirements in line with the role remit by:
- working with the related responsible to run packaging’s LCA and more especially their carbon footprint.
- supporting data set curation and updates (including but not limited to suppliers statements related to sustainability, composition, recyclability, carbon footprint…), review of input and output data quality in view of possible related claim/ disclosure.
- coordinating the work with the rest of the sustainability team in terms of repository, accesses, data needs.
- work closely with the global sustainability team to ensure alignment as well as with other teams such as IT when new tools need to be set up or Operational excellence in terms of collecting data from production, etc. analysing/summarizing relevant documents (standard, method, policy) in terms of impact to the business or approach used
- backing up certain profiles during holidays
YOUR SKILLS:
- Scientific, Technical or Engineering degree (preferred: within the field of environmental assessments)
- Experience dealing with ESG surveys
- Minimum understanding of corporate sustainability reporting
- Knowledge of carbon footprint and minimum familiarity with life cycle assessment methodology and data analysis tools
- Experience in the paper and or packaging sectors would be a plus.
- Good analytical, communication and organizational skills will be relevant.
- Fluency in English (oral/ written) is required.
