About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our supply chain operations across Switzerland and international markets.
In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain management, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery, while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
This position is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of managing complex supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance.
- Oversee procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics activities.
- Lead demand forecasting and capacity planning to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Monitor and report on key supply chain KPIs (lead times, stock levels, order fulfillment, costs).
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Manage and mentor a team of supply chain professionals to ensure high performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with Swiss and international regulations, quality standards, and sustainability practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in supply chain management, operations, or logistics, including team leadership.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and supply chain software.
- Proven experience in procurement, production planning, logistics, and inventory management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluent in English; German and/or French is a strong advantage.
- Experience in manufacturing, retail, pharmaceuticals, or FMCG preferred.
- Knowledge of lean principles, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
