A global healthcare & medical aesthetics organisation is seeking a senior, hands-on Supply Chain Consultant to lead a time-critical 3PL to 4PL transition and stabilise ongoing operations during a period of leadership change.
This is a high-visibility, Director-level role for a decisive “worker leader” who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and delivers without needing constant sign-off.
The Challenge
The business is embarking on an urgent transition to a full 4PL operating model with a global logistics partner (DHL). This role will own the transition end-to-end, while also ensuring Business As Usual continuity across planning, manufacturing, and customer service.
You will step in following the departure of the current Supply Chain Head, providing immediate leadership, clarity, and momentum.
What You’ll Be Doing
4PL Transformation Leadership
- Lead the transition of the full Order-to-Cash (O2C) process to a 4PL model
- (order entry, customer service, invoicing, cash collection)
- Own Phase 1 implementation, targeting completion by end of Q2, with scope for global rollout in Phase 2
- Act as the key commercial and operational interface with DHL
BAU Supply Chain Leadership
- Oversee monthly supply planning, forecasting, and inventory management
- Coordinate across internal teams and outsourced CMOs
- Step in as a “super-user” planner to resolve service, supply, and stock issues quickly
Decisive Leadership
- Operate effectively in a decision vacuum
- Take ownership, cut through complexity, and move things forward without waiting for permission
- Influence senior stakeholders and operate comfortably at exec / board level
Who This Is For
You’re a commercially minded supply chain leader, not just a functional expert.
Essential experience:
- Senior global supply chain leadership within regulated healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals
- Proven delivery of major transformations (e.g. 3PL → 4PL, large-scale outsourcing, operating model change)
- Strong experience managing complex partners (e.g. DHL, CMOs)
- Highly analytical, hands-on, and outcomes-focused
