Overview
The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analyzing data, optimizing processes, and supporting end-to-end supply chain operations. This role focuses on improving efficiency, reducing costs, enhancing forecasting accuracy, and ensuring smooth flow of materials and information across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Support demand forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment processes.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and order fulfillment performance.
- Create dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support decision-making.
- Evaluate supplier performance, lead times, and pricing trends.
- Assist in optimizing procurement, logistics, and warehousing strategies.
- Conduct cost analysis and support initiatives to reduce operational expenses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, logistics, operations, finance).
- Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Support system implementations, data migration, and continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret large datasets.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is an asset.
- Understanding of forecasting, demand planning, and inventory optimization.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain management software.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
