Due to a rapidly expanding pipeline of data center and mission-critical projects, my client is seeking a Superintendent to lead onsite field operations across multiple locations nationwide. This individual will take full ownership of project execution from mobilization through commissioning and closeout, ensuring all work is delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Projects include hyperscale data centers, mission-critical facilities, and advanced technology campuses, often involving fast-track schedules, complex MEP coordination, and high-performance delivery requirements. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, is comfortable travelling full-time, and brings a proactive, solutions-driven mindset to managing large, technically demanding builds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all onsite field operations from mobilization through turnover and commissioning
- Coordinate and manage multiple trades with a strong focus on MEP systems and sequencing
- Enforce strict safety protocols and maintain a zero-incident jobsite culture
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, engineers, and client representatives
- Drive project schedules, proactively identifying and resolving delays or conflicts
- Oversee quality control, installations, and final commissioning activities
- Maintain clear and consistent communication across all stakeholders
- Ensure accurate documentation using construction management platforms
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3+ years of [Assistant] Superintendent experience in commercial or mission-critical construction
- Strong background in data center or highly technical MEP-intensive projects
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, fast-track builds across multiple locations
- Willingness and ability to travel full-time nationwide
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with construction management and scheduling software
