Strategic Relationship Manager

The Europe-Asia Economic Summit (EAES) is seeking a highly strategic, relationship-driven, and globally minded professional to join our team as a Strategic Relationship Manager. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of international partnerships, high-level stakeholder engagement, and project leadership.
As we prepare for the 2nd edition of EAES, scheduled for 29 June to 1 July 2026, you will play a central role in expanding our global footprint—building partnerships across Europe, Asia, and GCC countries, and coordinating collaboration with stakeholders across continents. For the right candidate, this position offers a fast-track path toward increased leadership responsibility, including the potential promotion to Co-CEO.
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Strategic Relationship Manager, based preferably in Davos or Zurich, with a hybrid option available. In this role, you will support and lead our partnership and stakeholder engagement efforts across Europe, Asia, and the GCC region. You will work closely with our CEO to coordinate outreach, manage partnership documentation, and lead planning activities leading up to the summit.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Development & Stakeholder Management
- Cultivate, expand, and manage strategic relationships with partners across Europe, Asia, and GCC countries.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with corporations, chambers of commerce, foundations, government bodies, research institutions, and media organizations.
- Identify new partnership opportunities to support EAES growth, visibility, and long-term sustainability.
Project & Partnership Coordination
- Act as the primary liaison between EAES and external partners, ensuring high-level coordination, alignment, and responsiveness.
- Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of partnership deliverables before, during, and after the summit.
- Coordinate collaboration across continents, ensuring seamless communication across time zones and organizational cultures.
Sponsorship & Business Development
- Develop customized partnership proposals, sponsorship packages, and engagement strategies targeting senior-level stakeholders.
- Support fundraising and sponsorship acquisition efforts in partnership with the Executive Board.
Communications & Representation
- Support communication strategies by producing compelling content for web, email, social media, and partner-facing materials.
- Represent EAES at external meetings, conferences, and public speaking engagements, articulating the mission and strategic impact of the summit.
- Strengthen EAES brand visibility through professional relationship-building and proactive outreach.
Reporting & Internal Coordination
- Track and analyze partnership outcomes, engagement metrics, and progress toward strategic goals.
- Collaborate across internal teams (program, marketing, operations) to ensure smooth execution and partner satisfaction.
- Produce reports, briefs, and insights for the leadership team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, international relations, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in partnership management, stakeholder engagement, business development, project management, or MICE/event management.
- Proven ability to build and manage strong relationships with senior-level, multicultural, and international stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex timelines and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Native or fluent proficiency in German and English; additional languages (especially French, Arabic, or Mandarin) are a strong advantage.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and deliver compelling presentations.
- High level of professionalism, emotional intelligence, and discretion.
- Self-driven, solutions-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership.
