Department/Team Overview 

The Data Science & Analytics Team is the driving force behind our data-driven culture at Kafene. We partner closely with Kafene’s Risk, Finance, Technology, Sales, and Product teams to: 

* Design data products/ML-based tools to understand portfolio profitability and growth.
* Manage Kafene’s experimentation program and run A/B test analytics.
* Optimize Sales efficiency by running acquisition and retention analytics.
* Own the creation and development of key business insight reporting suitesBuild a best-in-class pricing program to maximize competitiveness and profitability.

What you'll do:
  • Sales & Marketing Analytics - enrich Kafene’s understanding of existing marketing performance, explore sales funnel opportunities, optimize return customer pathways, and more.
  • Performance Analytics - share strategic recommendations to optimize portfolio composition to maximize CoC and minimize unit costs.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for our Product and Finance teams as their core analytics partner.


  • Who you are:
  • 3+ years of work experience as a Data Analyst - relevant industry experience is a plus.
  • Superior quantitative analysis skills, creativity in problem solving, and a keen business sense. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with complex relational databases (Snowflake).
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. 
  • Keen attention to detail, obsessively organized with excellent documentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset - ability to perform root cause analysis, recognize patterns.
  • Familiar with Google Analytics, Python, Tableau/Looker/Sigma, JIRA project management.
  • Highly motivated and ambitious.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Math, Finance, Engineering), or equivalent combination of training and practical experience.


  • Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base Salary: Earn a competitive base salary ranging from $140,000 to $170,000.
