🌍 An international life sciences organisation based in the thriving biotech ecosystem hub of Switzerland—is seeking a visionary Sr. International Sales Director. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of strategy and execution, supporting the company’s mission to lead in shaking and fermentation technologies and intelligent bioprocessing solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a global sales strategy aligned with overall company goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing international sales teams and subsidiaries.
  • Monitor market trends and prioritise strategic segments (e.g., Life Sciences, Biopharma, Biotechnology).
  • Build and maintain partnerships with key accounts and global stakeholders.
  • Foster seamless collaboration across Marketing, Product Management, and After-Sales to ensure a unified customer experience.
  • Standardise sales processes, reporting, and CRM practices worldwide.
  • Define and track KPIs, refine tools, and drive continuous process improvement.
  • Lead growth initiatives and spearhead expansion into new global markets.
  • Share best practices and build operational excellence across international teams.


What We’re Looking For:

🎓Experience & Education

  • Minimum 8 years in international sales leadership, ideally within Life Sciences or Biotechnology.
  • Demonstrated success in launching new markets and delivering global sales strategies.

📈Leadership & Strategic Skills

  • Strong leadership, emotional intelligence, and ability to inspire multicultural teams.
  • Proven expertise managing complex sales cycles alongside Marketing and Product teams.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities.

✅Technical & Entrepreneurial Edge

  • Solid technical understanding of bioprocessing and laboratory workflows.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset paired with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

✈️Languages & Travel

  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken). Knowledge of French or Spanish is a plus.
  • Willing to travel approximately 30–40%.
