Salary: $85,000 - 95,000

Location: Remote

Must be located in the US & eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Who You Are

  • 5-9+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger accounting and daily accounting transactions to ensure the integrity of the financial books and records of the company.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment; startup experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Experience with lender reporting and compliance
  • Active participation (providing deliverables etc) for annual external audit
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently & remotely, manage time effectively, and handle multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with ad revenue models, digital marketing metrics, and/or adtech platforms is a plus
  • Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Rippling, Salesforce, Carta and Google Spreadsheets
  • Experience with multi-state tax compliance, filings, and reporting
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll processing requirements and reconciliation
  • Industry experience in technology, adtech, media, or digital marketing preferred
  • Experience with Billing Automation projects

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for key aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, assist with payroll processing and month end close reconciliations
  • Enter, process and reconcile Customer Billings/invoices, follow up on customer collections and process and code Accounts Payable invoices in accounting system as needed
  • Complete regular billing and account reconciliations
  • Record and code all bank and credit card transactions regularly
  • Coordinate with banks, customers, vendors to resolve issues as needed
  • Perform various payroll and employee expense reporting as assigned
  • Assist in analyzing financial results, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies, including internal controls, compliance protocols, and fraud prevention initiatives
  • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and systems in accordance with GAAP
  • Manage the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Coordinate and/or prepare state & federal tax schedules, returns, and related information
  • Provide inputs to the cash flow forecasting process on a weekly basis
  • Assist in the implementation and optimization of ERP systems and financial reporting tools for scalability
  • Provide financial advisory and strategic support for key business decisions, initiatives, and operational improvements
  • Work with other internal teams (HR, IT, Sales) on finance related projects as needed
  • Perform other finance and administrative duties as required
