Key Responsibilities

1. Translate and interpret documents, audio, video, or live conversations accurately between Spanish and English (or other target language).
2. Ensure translations maintain original tone, style, and cultural nuance.
3. Proofread and edit translated materials for quality, grammar, and clarity.
4. Utilize CAT tools (Computer-Assisted Translation) like SDL Trados or MemoQ.
5. Adhere to project-specific terminology and style guides.
6. Manage workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.

Qualifications & Skills

1. Bilingual Fluency: Native/near-native in both Spanish and English (written and spoken).
2. Cultural Competence: Deep understanding of cultural nuances and idioms.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency with MS Office, internet, and translation software.
4. Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, time management, communication, and research.
5. Education/Certification: Degree in Linguistics/Translation or relevant certification (e.g., ATA) is a plus.
