2. About the Opportunity:
The Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading the acquisition and negotiation of complex contracts, ensuring alignment with regulatory and internal policies. This role involves managing vendor selection, developing sourcing strategies, and facilitating contract negotiations to support the organization''s operational and service goals. The position contributes by optimizing procurement processes and fostering collaborative relationships across internal teams and external suppliers.
3. Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, IT, TPRM, and Health Services teams.
• Influence management at all levels, including executive leadership.
• Lead business requirement gathering and prepare bidding packages.
• Act as the primary contact for suppliers during RFP processes.
• Facilitate vendor presentations and use scoring matrices for selection.
• Ensure compliance with corporate ethics, code of conduct, and federal procurement regulations.
• Identify and implement procurement process improvements.
• Educate and align internal business partners on procurement practices.
• Analyze data to support continuous improvement.
• Apply expertise in technical, legal, business, procurement, and asset management disciplines.
• Independently determine contracting approaches for mid-complexity acquisitions.
• Draft, present, and negotiate contract language with stakeholders and vendors.
• Understand and address legal, risk, and business implications of contracts.
• Manage due diligence related to regulatory requirements such as FEP, CMS, HIPAA, and HITECH.
• Develop and execute acquisition and negotiation strategies.
• Present contracting strategies to gain stakeholder support.
• Prepare executive summaries highlighting contract initiatives, risks, benefits, and financials.
• Manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
4. Requirements:
• Minimum 7 years of related experience with successful contract negotiation in SaaS, Technology Professional Services, BPO, and Health Services.
• Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Strategic and tactical knowledge of RFP and process improvement.
• Understanding of procurement and supply management principles.
• Strong grasp of business details relevant to contract establishment.
