Role Description
This is a remote, contract role for a Sourcing & Operations Specialist. The individual in this role will identify and engage with suppliers and co-manufacturers, negotiate contracts, and manage procurement processes. They will also support operational tasks including vendor management, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing sourcing strategies. This role requires strong communication, coordination with internal teams, and analytical capabilities to ensure efficient and effective sourcing operations.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating suppliers, analyzing procurement data, and making informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and contract negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships effectively and secure favorable agreements.
- Experience in recruiting and procurement, including sourcing vendors and managing procurement processes.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry-specific sourcing practices is an advantage.
- Experience in the wellness, food, beverage, or supplements industry is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
