Accountabilities
- Design, execute, document, and maintain both manual and automated test cases across web applications, APIs, backend services, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments such as Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
- Build, expand, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium with Python and other relevant automation tools to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to validate data integrity, troubleshoot issues, and support functional and regression testing across relational databases.
- Perform root-cause analysis of defects, assessing severity, impact, and validity while clearly documenting findings and communicating status through ticketing systems.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and regression testing approaches aligned with product requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software QA, with strong expertise in both manual and automated testing practices.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and Python (or comparable automation frameworks) for building and maintaining test suites.
- Solid SQL skills, including the ability to write moderately complex queries for data validation and issue investigation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work independently in a remote or distributed environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira is preferred.
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Application Insights or Prometheus), healthcare data, or HIPAA-related environments is a plus.
- Experience in fast-growing or startup environments is considered an advantage.
